CURABLE COMPOSITION AND FOAMABLE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable composition having good workability, capable of curing under heating at a normal temperature or relatively low temperature and capable of providing a cured product excellent in flame retardance by including a specific organic compound, a specific compound and an inorganic flame retardant. SOLUTION: This curable composition comprises 100 pts.wt. mixture of (A) an organic compound having carbon-carbon double bond with (B) a compound having SiH group, (C) 1-100 pts.wt. inorganic flame retardant and (D) as necessary a phosphorus-based flame retardant. A phenol-based and/or bisphenol-based derivative having one or more carbon-carbon double bonds in one molecule is preferably used as the component A. A chain-like and/or cyclic organosiloxane having one or more kinds of SiH groups in one molecule is preferably used as the component B. Aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide is preferably used as the component C.
