PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve layout designing of the inside of a cabin and maintenance of a preheater by storing the preheater for a cold district in a counterweight. SOLUTION: An upper part revolving superstructure 2 is provided on a lower part traveling body 1 of a hydraulic shovel, and a cabin 4, a counterweight 34, etc., are provided on its revolving frame 31. Additionally, a preheater 36 to preheat an engine 13, etc., before starting is stored in a heater storage space 3 in the counterweight 34, and inspection windows for the preheater 36 are provided on the front surface side, the back surface side and the lower surface side of the counterweight 34. Consequently, it is possible to simplify layout designing of hot water supply piping 38, and exhaust pipe 42, etc., extending to the inside of the cabin 4 from the preheater 36 and to secure a sufficient space in the inside of the cabin 4.
