PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolishing device for a tower-shaped structure capable of significantly reducing working hours, and reducing the danger to the workers. SOLUTION: Two masts in each of which a large number of mast blocks 14 are connected and fixed each other is constructed on the opposite of a tower- shaped structure 10 so as to place it therebetween, and on the two masts 12, a scaffold 32 connected to the masts 12 and surrounding the tower-shaped structure 10 is fixed. A crushing machine 24 is fixed above the scaffold 32 and vertically above the masts 12. The outside wall of the tower-shaped structure 10 and the scaffold 32 are fixed by jack-bases 30. In this state, the top of the tower-shaped structure 10 is crushed by the crushing machine 24 as much as a prescribed height. Thereafter, the jack-bases 30 are loosened to release the fixing relation between the outside wall of the tower-shaped structure 10 and the scaffold 32, and one mast block 14 is removed from each of the masts 12 to lower the height of the masts 12. By repeating the above procedure, the tower-shaped structure 10 can be successively destroyed from above downward.
