PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette type mold device which eliminates troubles of demolding and fitting (the attachment/detachment of a cassette) which cause the deformation by heat expansion of a cassette mold and its main body mold and can maintain operation efficiency of an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: In the side fringes of the same side in upper and lower cassette molds 11, 15 and upper and lower main body molds 10, 14, engagement channel parts 50, 50, for example, of a nearly T-shaped cross section of a symmetric mold around the contact surface of both are formed respectively in a prescribed length toward the opposite side. With an opening part, for example, of a nearly I-shaped cross-sectional shape which is to be formed by the engagement channel parts 50, 50 in the overlapped upper and lower cassette molds 11, 15 and the upper and lower main body molds 10, 14, a connecting hook 40 of a nearly I-shaped cross-sectional shape is engaged attachably/detachably from the side. Seal members 25 which can be deformed by compression are placed between the upper and lower cassette molds 11, 15 and between the main body molds 10, 14, respectively.
