PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a solid electrolytic capacitor which has a high frequency of capacitance appearance and can be improved in frequency characteristics can be manufactured easily. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing solid electrolytic capacitor in which a conductive polyaniline layer 6 is laminated upon a dielectric coating film 4 after the film 4 is formed on a valve-action metal, the conductive polyaniline layer 6 is laminated upon the film 4 after at least either one 5 of an aniline derivative and an aniline dimer is deposited on the surface of the coating film 4.
