<p>A cellular network for providing wireless communication with a plurality of mobile stations includes a mobile switching center (102) having a public interface configured to communicate with a public switched telephone network (104) and at least one private interface configured to communicate with a private network. A base station controller (106) is coupled to the mobile switching center private interface and configured to communicate with the mobile switching center (102). A concentrated base transceiver station (108) is coupled to the base station controller (106) and configured to communicate with the base station controller (106). A plurality of remote transceivers (110) are coupled to the concentrated base transceiver station (108) and configured to communicate with with mobile stations. Another embodiment includes an operations maintenance center (112) coupled to the mobile switching center (102) and configured to control the mobile switching center (102) and to monitor the network.</p> |
