The press has a lifting device with crank lever and stretch lever arrangements. These have joints with only one bearing (34) each. A shaft (33,a) held at one end, passes through each bearing, and all bearings are positioned in the same plane. The jointed levers (17,18) are alternately formed as single-part levers and two-part levers formed by two straps (32). The straps are bridged by a shaft fastened to them, and the one-part levers are born on the shafts via bearings.
