PURPOSE: An automatic lifting typed pontoon bridge for boarding and leaving is provided to guarantee safety by separately making the driving unit of a lift and a bridge and to correctly place the bridge even if changing the deck height and position of a ship coming alongside a pier. CONSTITUTION: The pontoon bridge has:a wire rope(5) of a winder(3) only connecting a lift(8); a rotating body(82) rotating horizontally by installing a vertical shaft in a rank(81) that extends forward and parallel with the upper and lower of the front frame of the lift; a hydraulic pressure cylinder(18) for rotating horizontally of the rotating body that is installed between brackets(86)(85) attaching to the rotating body of the lower frame of the lift; and a hydraulic pressure cylinder for adjusting a slant of a bridge(11) that is installed between the bracket attaching around the middle and upper calcareous material of the rotating body.
