METHOD FOR EXTENDING WIDE AREA CAPCODE IN PAGING SYSTEM PROVIDING WIDE AREA CALLING SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for extending a capcode which can be assigned to a wide area subscriber in paging system providing a wide area calling service is disclosed. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises extending a wide area capcode to carry it to a capcode region and a function bit region and to transmit them, using pocsac protocol. The extended wide area capcode allow the higher bit thereof to be carried to the function bit and the remaining bit thereof to be carried to a pager address bit. Thereby, it is possible to admit four times as many as the number of a increasing wide area subscriber by extending the wide area capcode to carry it to the function bit and the pager address bit and to transmit them.
