APPARATUS FOR MEASURING PIPE CORROSION OF HEAT EXCHANGER USING SUPERSONIC

PURPOSE: A corrosion measuring device of a heat exchanger pipe is provided to enhance reliability of testing result and prevent the equipment from breaking down caused by corrosion of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a supersonic detecting head, a supersonic detector, a data input/storing section, and an analyzer. The head successively transmits supersonic toward an inner wall of the pipe at each position and receives the supersonic to convert a supersonic signal thereof into an electric signal. The detector is coupled to the head and displays the converted electric signal by a display device. The section is coupled to the detector, converts the electric signal into a digital signal, and inputs or revises design of a measured pipe. The analyzer analyzes a program including corrosion degree and remaining life of the pipe.
