PURPOSE: A method for managing message between a TRS(Trunked radio system) and a VMS(Voice mailbox service) is provided to allow a TRS terminal corresponding to VMS message not to search the VMS message when the VMS message has been deleted. CONSTITUTION: The method first determines whether the VMS is possible by reading a phone number corresponding to the VMS message depending on off-hook signal according to VMS inform period of the VMS message and searching database of a terminal corresponding to the phone number. If the VMS is possible from the searching, it is determined whether the corresponding TRS terminal is in idle state. When it is determined that the corresponding TRS terminal is not in idle state, it is recorded that the VMS message is within VMS inform field of a memory in the TRS system. Thereafter, a timer is set to a time shorter than a period for the VMS. If the set time of the timer is ended, the VMS inform field is deleted.
