PURPOSE: A machinery chamber of a refrigerator having a noise damping structure is provided to cut off the noise of the machinery chamber, to increase the heat radiation by smooth flowing and to promote the efficiency of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: The machinery chamber is composed of:a compressor(103) to compress the high temperature and pressure coolant; a condenser(111) to liquefy the coolant supplied from the compressor by cooling; a cooling fan(123A) installed close to the outer part of the compressor to cool the compressor and the condenser; and a driving motor(125) installed to drive the cooling fan.; Herein, the circulation of air becomes favorable by respectively composing the cooling fans for air ventilation and air suction.
