PURPOSE: A food waste processing device is provided not to ventilate the smell gas inside a fermenting tub into the indoor through an inlet by operating an inhale force according to the rotation of a ventilating fan into the fermenting tub through the inlet when the inlet of a top cover is opened by opening a lid for inputting the food waste into the fermenting tub. CONSTITUTION: The food waste processing device comprises by: fixing a top cover(3) having an inlet(2) in the upper part of a body(1); installing a lid(4) to be able to rotate to open and close the inlet(2) in the top cover; fixing a fermenting tub(5), the space to ferment the inputted food waste by mixing a fermenting assist agent, inside the body(1); ventilating the smell gas generated according to the fermentation of the food waste inside the fermenting tub to the outside of the body(1) by guiding according to a ventilating passage at rotating a ventilating fan(14); inhaling the outer air through an inhaling passage into the fermenting tub(5) when the smell gas inside the fermenting tub(5) is ventilated according to the rotation of the ventilating fan(14).
