PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forward a tape more properly in a tape feeder successively supplying the specified place of the extraction of parts with the parts while using the tape as a carrier. SOLUTION: The tape feeder 4a is constituted so that parts are held under the state in which the parts can be extracted, while drawing out a tape 33 in which the parts are housed, to a part extracting section 35 by a tape feed mechanism 39. In the tape feed mechanism 39, a sprocket 40 is rotated by driving a motor 41, and the sprocket 40 is engaged with engaging holes formed to the tape 33 at regular intervals. An engaging-hole detector 47 for detecting the engaging holes of the tape 33 is installed, the places of the engaging holes are recognized based on the detection result of the engaging holes of the tape 33, and a feeder controller for feedback-controlling the motor 41 so that the engaging holes are kept within the predetermined range of proper places, where the places of the recognition are preset while whether or not the places of the recognition are kept within the predetermined range of the proper places is investigated, is mounted. |
