PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone set having an automatic calling device, that can be used regardless of where the user is located and a network or a cell to which the mobile telephone set is connected. SOLUTION: This mobile telephone set with an automatic calling device has a memory including some specific fields, and the fields are used for deciding local or international characters for communication, a possible prefix of a subscriber number called by the user, and a called subscriber number. Decision for making a call is conducted, after detecting contents of the three fields. The memory has a special area for possible code conversion between characters in a 1st field and a country code or a prefix related to the country of a called subscriber. The telephone set is applicable to automatic telephone calling devices.
