PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide picture generation method/device for generating a compilation information picture which can grasp row overflow positions showing respective abbreviated positions when a complication picture is set to the prescribed number of rows which is natural number- times as much as the reference number of rows in prior to or independent of the generation of the compilation picture. SOLUTION: A basic character string storage process where the reference number of rows in which a part or a whole basic character string having a plurality of character strings on text data is developed and arranged and the n-th prescribed number of rows which is n-times (natural number) are decided, and the basic character string is stored, a row excess discrimination process deciding whether the number of rows, in which the basic character strings are developed/arranged, exceeds the n-th prescribed number of rows or not, compilation information character string generation process where an n-th prescribed rows overflow information character string showing the excess of the number of rows is inserted between the end of the previous row, which exceeds the n-th prescribed number of rows after abbreviation and the head of the subsequent row and the compilation information character string is generated on the n-th number of rows, which is discriminated to exceed the n-th number of rows, and a compilation information picture generation process where the compilation information character string is developed/arranged and a compilation information picture is generated, are installed. |
