PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability regarding the mounting of an electrophotographic photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor drum mounting method, for mounting an electrophotographic photoreceptor drum 15 in the frame of a process cartridge which can be removably mounted in an electrophotographic image forming device main body, includes a process whereby a drum shaft 15f provided at one end of the electrophotographic photoreceptor drum 15 is inserted into a frame body hole 50a in one end, a process whereby the other end of the electrophotographic photoreceptor drum 15 is pressed in to face a projecting part at the other end, an insertion process whereby a drum shaft 15f provided on a cover at the other end is inserted into a drum hole 15g provided in the other end of the electrophotographic photoreceptor drum 15, and a process whereby a bearing member 80 is fitted into the frame body hole 50a at the one end.
