PURPOSE: An electric energy storage apparatus having terminals extended in one direction and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the electrical resistance, to offer the convenience to users and to improve the productivity. CONSTITUTION: The electric energy storage apparatus includes a cylindrical wound electrode body(200) formed by winding a cathode, a separator and an anode in order; a terminal plate(300) comprising a cathode leads connecting part(325) on cathode leads(225), a cathode lead connecting plate(320), an anode leads connecting part(355) on anode lead(235), an anode lead connecting plate(350) and a insulation connecting member(370); and a sealing container(400) for accommodating the wound electrode body(200). Particularly, a plurality of cathode leads formed by a cathode collector and a plurality of anode leads formed by an anode collector are separately extended from one end of the wound electrode body(200).
