SOLUTION: The portable information terminal device 1 receives intrinsic setting information in external equipment 2 to be a remote control object from the equipment, for instance setting program information for data setting in the equipment 2 and setting data set at present in the equipment, by a communication interface 15, performs desired data setting, based on the setting information, and transmits the setting data to the corresponding external equipment 2.
