PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration by reducing circuits peculiar to resetting a microcomputer. SOLUTION: When a reset command is received, a CPU 11 reads data stored at the reset vector address of a ROM 14. At such a time, since the instruction of jump to the leading address of a program is stored at the reset vector address of the ROM 14, the CPU 11 jumps to the leading address of the program. Therefore, since the microcomputer can be operated at the time of reset similarly to the execution of ordinary instruction, circuit peculiar to reset can be reduced.
