<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the utilizing range of a device by reproducing signals recorded on a recording medium with the same format and outputting as an incompressive signal and a compressive signal. SOLUTION: At the time of the reference speed reproduction, the signals reproduced by magnetic heads 72, 72' are transmitted to a data expanding circuit 100 passing through a changeover circuit 90, after the signal processes such as the reproducing demodulation channel synthesis, error detection, error correction, etc., are carried out by a signal processing circuit 80 of reproduction system. The reproduced signal subjected to data expanding process is converted to an analog signal by a D/A converter 120 and outputted from an output terminal 131 as a reference analog video signal. Meanwhile, a reference digital video signal is outputted from an output terminal 132. At the time of the high speed reproduction, the reproduced signal is outputted from an output terminal 133 as a high speed digital video signal keeping the compressed state passing through the changeover circuit 90, after the signal processes such as the reproducing demodulation, channel synthesis, error detection, error correction, etc., are carried out by the signal processing circuit 80 of reproduction system.</p> |
