PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the excessive temperature rise of a fixing roller end part and reduce the wasteful energy consumption by arranging feed members so as to be protruded into a fixing roller from both the ends thereof, and making at least one of the feed members movable in the axial direction of the fixing roller. SOLUTION: A fixing roller 1 has feed members 3, 4 arranged so as to protrude into the fixing roller 1 from both the ends thereof to supply a power to a heating resistor. The feed members 3, 4 have support shafts 5, 6 for supporting rollers, which are provided in the direction parallel to the axial line of the fixing roller 1, and the rollers are driven and rotated following the rotation of the fixing roller 1. The feed members 3, 4 are mounted through the support shafts 5, 6 in such a manner as to be movable in the axial direction of the fixing roller 1, and constituted so as to be movable bilaterally on the basis of the lateral center of the fixing roller 1. Accordingly, the heating area in the heating resistor of the fixing, roller 1 can be optionally set.
