PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress re-synthesis of dioxin and the like precursor by pouring to mix water or air of an ambient temperature with exhaust smoke gas exhausted from an incinerating furnace, quenching the mixture, temperature lowering the smoke gas to a specific temperature range, and removing fly ash by a high temperature dust collector. SOLUTION: Refuse is dumped in a fluidized bed burning unit 13 from a refuse supply hopper 11 of a refuse incinerating furnace 1 via a refuse dumping port 12, and incinerated. Dioxin and the like are thermally decomposed by assuring 800 deg.C or higher of a burning temperature and 2 sec or more of a burning time by a free board 14 of the burning unit. Exhaust smoke gas is exhausted from an exhaust smoke discharge port 15. Cooling water or cold air is supplied from an inlet 21 to an exhaust smoke gas quick cooler 2, mixed with the smoke gas, the mixture is quenched to 600 to 480 deg.C, and fly ash becoming a catalyst for expediting re-synthesis of the dioxin and the like in the exhaust smoke is removed in a high temperature dust collector 3. The thus dust removed smoke gas is exhausted into the atmosphere from a stack 6 in which the smoke gas is induced by an induction blower 5 via a heat recovering unit 4. |
