PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disc cartridge which has a disc cartridge main part with a vibration-supporting structure and enables the reduction of the vibration of a disc and high fidelity reproduction. SOLUTION: A disc cartridge is supported by a pair of reference pins 14 and 14 and a pair of receivers 16 and 16 and held by a pressing spring 17 on the upper surface of its upper half 1 for recording/reducing operation. Butting bosses 19 and 20 with which the upper half 1 and lower half 2 are joined with each other are formed on the parts of a cartridge main part 3 corresponding to one of the receivers 16 and 16. Further, the thickness of the corner part of the upper half 1 outside the disc housing area is increased.
