OPTICAL DISK PICK-UP DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: An optical disk pick-up device is provided to discriminate a kind of a disk and detect inclination of the disk in real time by having two light elements and two light receiving elements. CONSTITUTION: A light axis is a line which is vertical to a disk surface having no inclination. One of the light elements is arranged to irradiate light that a central axis of radiation light is identical to the light axis and is used as a light source to detect inclination of a disk. The other is arranged to irradiate light that the central axis thereof is sloped toward the light axis and is used as a light source to discriminate a kind of a disk by detecting a thickness of a disk substrate.
