<p>A machine for renewing and maintaining a railway track provides clearing of the ballast and restoring thereof underneath the subsoil at a prepared formation (47) which is isolated by means of a geotextile material (24) and compacted with the gravel. The machine is of such an arrangement that behind the gravel damping area (22), which gravel is delivered from an external source, there is a forming bar (34) attached transversally underneath the rail (28) together with a compactor (19), both the bar and compactor being hinged on chutes (7). The geotixtile is freely hinged on the arms (25) of the said chutes (7) in front of the damping area (22). Attached to the outfall of a gravel bin (6) is an upper and lower chute (8, 9) mouthing above a transverse conveyer (10), which is coupled with a centre and lateral separator (12, 14), guided along the rails (28).</p> |
