The invention relates to a navigation device comprising an automated destination input. The inventive device minimizes the effort of inputting destinations and associated typical routes which have previously been entered into a navigation system. The mobility of the user is recorded based on different characteristics, and typical movement profiles are extracted from this data and assigned to the destinations along with appropriate routes.
