Paper to be printed on (3) is held on a supply roller (4) on the front side of the first printer (1), detected by a draw-in roller (5), fed through the first printer and printed on by a first printing head (6) corresponding to signals fed in by a computer (7). The paper with the picture or text printed on it is fed through deflection rollers (8-11), picked up by the draw-in roller and then printed on the rear side by a second printing head (13). Optoelectronic cameras (14,15) detect the edges of the paper.
