A MACHINE FOR THE TREATMEMT OF RAIL PADS OF A TRACK

A machine (1 ) for the treatment of rail pads of a track (15) composed of rails (14) and sleepers (12) consists of a machine frame (3) and two track lifting devices (13) vertically adjustable by means of drives (19) and spaced from one another in the longitudinal direction of the machine. A respective sleeper displacement device (8) is associated with each said track lifting device and has a pressing element (10) which is adjustable in the transverse direction of the track by means of a drive and provided for application to the sleeper (12) to be displaced. A vertically adjustable stripping device (23) is provided between the two track lifting devices (13) for removing the rail pad located on the displaced sleeper (12).
