Vertically pivotable conveyor module for transporting flat consignments

The conveyor module (1) is pivoted in an up and down direction using a crank. In the region of the dead points of the crank drive, a stop (9,10) is positioned to limit the motion. The end of the crank that is joined to a connecting rod (7) is connected to a spring (4) for storing energy during the downward movement of the conveyor module, and releasing energy during the upward movement. The spring and the stops are arranged so that the crank is held against the stops by a component of the spring force directed to the stops.
