The present invention relates to a drive arrangement for a vehicle, especially a motor vehicle, comprising a drive unit that includes a crankcase that is closed on one side by an oil sump (12). The oil sump (12) has an indent element (30) belonging to the section of a side wall (28) protruding therein. Said indent receives a differential gear and has an opening (32) for an axle shaft that protrudes from the differential gear, whereby the center axis (36) of said opening (32) runs through the crankcase.
