PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front member for a vehicle that can reduce cost by reducing weld length and the number of part items. SOLUTION: A center member (front member) 13 of cylindrical cross section extended in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body is formed by bending a plate in cylindrical shape so that both edge parts overlap each other. Recessed parts 45a and protruding parts 45b formed in almost corrugated shape are alternately formed at an overlap part of the cylinder body. The protruding parts 45b are overlapped with each other and spot-welded, and the recessed parts 45a form an opening 46.
