<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of the peripheral ends of disk-like glass at the time of sucking and transporting the glass. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the disk-like glass has a turn table 4 which is freely rotatably born, plural lower dies 6 which are arranged along the circumferential direction of a turn table 4 and are supplied with molten glass to their front surfaces, at least one upper dies 7 which form the disk-like glass by pressing the molten glass with these upper dies 7 and the lower dies 6, impact imparting means 30 and 33 which impart impact, preferably vibration, to the lower dies 6 before the disk-like glass is taken out of the top of the lower dies 6 and an ejecting means 2 which sucks the disk-like glass and takes the disk-like glass out of the top of the lower dies 6. The impact to be imparted to the lower dies by the impact imparting means acts to reduce the adhesion force between the peripheral ends of the disk-like glass and the inner peripheral surfaces of the lower dies 6 or molds 14, thereby decreasing the stresses acting on the peripheral ends of the glass at the time of ejection.</p> |
