<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal shoe type bracing hardware which can firmly fix a brace in a joint between a vertical member and a lateral frame member and bring out the strength of the brace to realize a high wall ratio, and a fixing structure for a high strength bracing in which the metal shoe type bracing is used. SOLUTION: One end of a brace 5 is fixed in the joint of a vertical member 3 and a lateral frame member 4 in a wooden building by the metal shoe type bracing hardware. The bracing hardware is constituted of a first metal fitting 11 fixed to the vertical member 3 and the lateral frame member 4 by bolts 12, 14 respectively and a second metal fitting 21 connected to the first metal fitting 11. The second metal fitting 21 is fixed to the end of the brace 5 and provided with a pulling structure which pulls the end of the brace 5 to the first metal fitting 11.</p> |
