PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability when conducting the maintenance f the center side of a vehicle body while standing on the side of the vehicle body y forming steps lower than the upper face of a floor on both the right and left side sections of a body removably fitted to the vehicle body in a riding rice transplanter covered with the body having the floor on the vehicle body. SOLUTION: A body 40 covered on the chassis of a riding rice transplanter 1 is constituted of a flat riding floor 41, a front cover section 42 covering the upper section of a machine body front end section, and an engine cover section 43 covering the upper section of an engine 20 or the like. Steps 44 for alighting and boarding and lower than the floor 41 by one stage are formed on both the right and left side sections of the floor 41 located between front and rear wheels 12, 16. The steps 44 are supported on both end sections of a side frame 58 protruded to the side section from the rear case 14 of the body 40. When the body 40 is removed for the maintenance of a vehicle body center section, the steps 44 are removed together with the body 40, and the steps 44 do not become obstacles. |
