PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of trial of an adhesive paste performed prior to the coating treatment of a substrate with the adhesive paste and to achieve the simplification of the constitution of a trial dispensing device and the reduction of the production cost thereof. SOLUTION: A trial dispensing device 1 is equipped with a tape member 15 formed by winding a tape coated with an adhesive into a roll shape, a first reel 3 holding the tape member 15 in a freely rotatable manner and a second reel 4 taking up the tape. In this case, the second reel 4 is provided with a reel shaft 42 having a reciprocally revolved and driven drive part 45a and a fixed part 42b, a spool 43 taking up the tape, a first one-way clutch formed so that the rotation of the spool 43 with respect to the fixed part 42b of the reel shaft 42 is made free only in a forward rotary direction but prevented in the reverse rotary direction and a second one-way clutch formed so that the rotation of the spool 43 with respect to the drive part 45a of the reel shaft 42 is made free only in the reverse rotary direction but prevented in the forward rotary direction.
