PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom support capable of preventing the telescopic operation of a telescopic boom with a dead weight during storage of the telescopic boom and preventing the interference of the telescopic boom with a stopper when the stored telescopic boom is raised. SOLUTION: A boom support 21 provided on a body 5 so as to be oscillatable up and down has one end provided with a horizontal arm 23 extending almost in horizontal and the other end provided with a vertical arm 25 extending almost in vertical. The horizontal arm 23 has a boom placement part 27 for placing and holding the telescopic boom 11 at its end stored on the body 5 and the vertical arm 25 has a supporting part 31 for supporting a vertical post 17 when the telescopic boom 11 is in a stored condition. The base of the horizontal arm 23 is provided with a contact face 35 for contacting the end of an intermediate boom 11b. The telescopic boom 11 is placed and held on the boom placement part 27 so that the end of the intermediate boom 11b of the telescopic boom 11 may contact the contact face 35 to restrict the telescopic operation of the telescopic boom 11.
