PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating open show case in which books can be displayed without collapse or limitation to display quantity, and in which display effect is high. SOLUTION: A machine chamber 2 is disposed at a lower part of a show case body 1, and a refrigerating item display part 3 is disposed at an upper part in this refrigerating open show case. In this case, a book display part 5 provided with a pair of side plates 4 in which books 6 can be placed in a stack is formed above the refrigerating item display part 3, and a book display part 5 provided with a stage 7 on which the books 6 can be set to stand, and a wire stopper 8 to prevent falling forward of the books 6 standing on the stage 7 are arranged on a front surface of the machine chamber 2 and under a hand rail 9 of the show case body 1.
