PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley for a hoisting accessory with the hoisting tool less worn and a spring extremely less damaged, usable for a long period and excellent in safely during hoisting heavy materials. SOLUTION: A pulley 10 for a hoisting tool includes a pair of mainbody plates 11, 11, rotors (sprockets 16, 17) provided in a rotatable manner between the mainbody plates, pairs of arms 14a, 14b respectively provided outside the pair of mainbody plates so as to be rotatable with respect to the mainbody plates, and sling guides 15, 15 mounted to the end of these arms. The sling guides 15, 15 are provided with guide means for passing a sling 3 wrapped around the rotor between the front and rear mainbody plates, so that the pair of arms 14a, 14b can be open/closed following the wrap angle of the sling 3. The guide means for the sling guides 15, 15 are formed as openings to be provided in the sling guides 15, 15 or a plurality of rotatable rollers, depending on the form of the sling.
