PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the design of a safe residence also for a person using a wheelchair by imparting a cushioning function to the contact of the wheelchair in a wall panel. SOLUTION: Core materials 3, 3, 3, 3, are framed and one surfaces of the core materials are covered with face materials 5, 6 in the wall panel 1, and beltlike resilient sections 7 are installed to parts of the face materials 5, 6 in place of the face materials. The resilient sections 7 are mounted along sections interfering in a wheelchair. The wall panel 1 with the beltlike resilient sections 7 is used for a partition wall. The surfaces of the beltlike resilient sections 7 are formed in approximately the same surfaces as the face materials 5, 6. Gypsum boards are employed as the face materials 4, 5, 6.
