PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively dredge an inverted siphon manhole by making a moving bucket element movable around a rotary pin held at the eccentric position nearer to the moving bucket element than to the abutting face with a fixed bucket element. SOLUTION: The fixed bucket element 1 and moving bucket element 2 of a dredging bucket B are rotatably connected by a rotary pin 3 located eccentrically from the center of a bucket main body, i.e., a bisector, by a distance (e) and at a distance (h) from the tip of the main body. When the opening/ closing hydraulic cylinder 4 of the bucket B is extended, the moving bucket element 2 is opened around the rotary pin 3. When the hydraulic cylinder 4 has the maximum stroke, the moving bucket element 2 has the maximum opening. The pawl section 1f of the fixed bucket element 1 is thrust into the sediment at the bottom section of a manhole, the hydraulic cylinder 4 is shrunk, and the moving bucket element 2 is rotated and closed to dredge the sediment. The bucket B is opened on the ground to discharge the sediment. The bottom section of the inverted siphon manhole can be efficiently dredged.
