PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel floor plate girder and a work execution method of the steel floor plate girder which can be easily manufactured, formed at a low cost and easily handled and conveyed. SOLUTION: A bridge 1 is constructed by supporting a steel floor plate girder 10 on bridge piers 2 through supports 3. The steel floor plate girder 10 is provided with cross beams 12, serving as lateral reinforcing members orthogonal to a bridge axis, provided on a main girder 11 supported on the support 3, at specified spaces in the axial direction of the bridge, and steel floor plates 20 are connected onto the cross beam 12 through connecting plates 23 respectively disposed between longitudinal ribs 22.
