ACCELERATION OF ELUVIATION OF LANDFILL WASTE, ITS PURIFICATION AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a landfill site and make the site healthy in an early stage by providing water-through catchment wells within a landfill ground formed by wastes encircling a pond to be landfilled and also providing a means of feeding leaching water leached in the catchment wells into a treatment means. SOLUTION: Catchment wells 4 formed of pipes with water-through holes on its side faces are formed at the desired intervals on an interstructure 1. While the interior of a pond 2 is landfilled with wastes, leaching water leached into the catchment wells 4 is pumped out by a pump 5 from the side of the pond 2 through wastes forming the interstructure 1 and returned into the pond 2 through valves 6 and a line 7. As the leachment is in progress, the concentration of heavy metals and pollutants in residual seawater 3 in the pond 2 is increased. The leaching water leached into the catchment wells 4, therefore, is pumped out by the pump 5 at this point of time and treated by a leaching water treatment facility 10 through a valve 8 and a line 9 to treat the residual seawater 3 starting from the landfill initial period.
