PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner wherein the weight of a rotary cleaning body is reduced to improve operability. SOLUTION: A rotary cleaning body (rotary brush 50) is rotatably provided in a suction room 39 formed within a main body 31 of a suction port body (floor brush) which is fluidly connected to a vacuum cleaner 1, and the rotary cleaning body comprises an axis body 51 and a cleaning member (blade 60, brush member 70). The cross sectional area of the proximal part of the cleaning member normal to the axis thereof is made smaller than the cross sectional area normal to the axial direction of mount grooves 54a-54f formed on the axis body 51. The proximal part fitted on the grooves 54a-54f is positioned on the side of a slit-shaped aperture 55 of the axis body 51. Then, a holding part (rib 56 and wall surface 61b) is provided to form spaces S1 and S2 between the axis of the grooves 54a-54f and proximal parts 61 and 71 to reduce the weight of the axis body 51, so that the weight of the suction port body can be reduced.
