PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the transmission of wave length and rays in a specified range and prevent the ply separation of two films by applying successively an electro-deposition coating material and a solid color coating material containing zinc oxide fine particles as an ultraviolet absorbent. SOLUTION: The degreasing cleaning, the surface treatment of zinc phosphate, iron phosphate or the like followed by the water washing are applied preliminarily to a material to be coated forming the outer plates of a car body, an electric utensil or the like, and then an electro-deposition coating material using a cationic polymer compound prepared by modifying with an amino compound or the like a base resin such as acrylic resin, epoxy resin to introduce a cationic group is applied for the primer coating. The primer coated material to be coated is further coated with a solid color coating material containing a resin composition, a coloring pigment zinc oxide fine particles and used as an ultraviolet absorbent and heat cured. The transmission of rays of 300-360 nm wave length and 360-420 nm wave length can be reduced by the arrangement to prevent the ply separation of both films.
