<p>PURPOSE:To provide a heat generating device in which either gas fuel or liquid fuel is ignited, its combustion heat is applied as a heat source by a method wherein either a catalyst carrying amount of a catalyst close fitting amount is partially increased so as to attain a superior responsiveness. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a mixing part 14 for mixing fuel gas with air, a combustion chamber 15 comprised of a ceramic coating layer 24 having catalyst metal arranged at a downstream side of the mixing part and a discharging port 18 positioned vertically in a flowing direction of the mixture gas. Then, a carrying amount of catalyst metal in a catalyst layer 17b closely fitted to an inner wall surface 15b of the combustion chamber oppositely faced against the mixture gas inlet is increased more than that of the catalyst metal in the catalyst layer 17 closely contacted with the inner wall surface of another combustion chamber or a ceramic covering layer of the catalyst layer 17b closely contacted with the inner wall surface 15b of the combustion chamber oppositely faced against the mixture gas inlet is made thicker than the ceramic coating layer 24 of the catalyst layer 17 closely contacted with the inner wall surface of the other combustion chamber.</p> |
