PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutter head wherein the cutting performance can be restored several times, and a shield excavator can smoothly excavate a hard ground over the long distance. SOLUTION: Both main bodies 11 of cutter bits 10 have a symmetrical front shape and edges 13 are provided on the periphery 12 of each body 11. The front surface of the body 11 is oriented in the rotational direction of a cutter head 2 and some of the edges 13 are projected toward the front surface of the cutter head 2. And an axial body 14 made integral to the rear side of the body 11, on the center axis of symmetry, is inserted into a spoke 2a of the head 2 so that the body 11 can be rotated about the axial body 14. |
