The invention concerns a device for dehydrating and conditioning sludge coming from an effluent purifying plant comprising means for thickening the sludge, means for mixing the sludge with reagents facilitating dehydration and means for dehydrating thickened sludge, consisting of a press filter. Said device is characterised in that the sludge extraction from the purifying plant (1) and the thickening process are carried out in discontinuous manner according to the press filter (9) demand; the thickening means consist of a draining system (11) designed to obtain thickened sludge with a concentration in solid matter of the order of 50 grammes per litre and the sludge mixing means consist of a hydraulic device comprising a system (16) shrinking the passage of the thickened sludge and at least a static cyclonic mixer (14). |
