PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device unit to be easily inserted between an upper and a lower shelf boards that form a rack. SOLUTION: This shelf board device is composed of a device unit 7 and a rack 1, where the rack 1 is composed of an upper shelf board 5 and a lower shelf board 6, the device unit 7 is interposed between the shelf boards 6 and 7, and an upper rail 9 and a lower rail 10 are each provided in the upside and underside of the device unit 7. An upper rail groove 16 and a lower rail groove 18 where the upper rail 9 and the lower rail 10 are each inserted to be guided are each provided in the upper shelf board 5 and the lower shelf board 6 respectively. The upper rail groove 16 hollowed out in the upper shelf board 5 is tapered so as to get gradually narrower in width in the insertion direction of the device unit 7.
