PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set with an annoyance preventing function capable of judging that the voice level of a user is high corresponding to a using environment. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set used by being carried away outdoors is provided with a voice level detection circuit 6 for detecting the level of the speaking voice of the user, a noise level detection circuit 12 for detecting the level of ambient noise, a calculation means composed of a microcomputer 2 for calculating the difference of the levels and a reporting means composed of a vibration motor 9 for alarming the user corresponding to the output of the calculation means.
